Well if some of you watch CNN, you may have noticed something about a wildfire in South Carolina. Started Earth Day and is still going on. The fire was/is in the area of my parent's house and my friend's parent's house. When I first heard about it I was going crazy trying to find out if my family and animals were ok. They all were ok for the most part. Yesterday the fire got closer to the house so me and my family got really scared. I went over there and helped them pack all the valuable things into 3 different cars. Plus I got most of my things that I left there when I moved out. Like an hour before we left the house, the smoke and ash got really bad so we all were running around like chickens with our heads cut off. It looked funny in a way. Finally when we all were about to leave, they started evacuating everyone (30 homes) in my neighborhood. My uncle took 4 out of 8 cats and I took 1 with me. The other 3 cats we couldn't catch because they weren't people friendly. I hope they are doing ok. As of today, the fire died down but since the winds are beginning to be strong again, the fire might turn bad again.
